I am sourcing product from China for a client in volume.?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I want to put the client in contact /w the supplier so they can arrange for shipping and billing directly however I want to first arrange with the supplier to incorporate my commision into their final price/unit. Has anyone done this before and can you give me some advice as to how to go about it? What things should I look out for? It is entirely possible that the supplier will cut me out of the loop once I put them in contact with my client. How can I avoid this?

That is very possible and it has happened to a lot of our clients dealing with suppliers in China. Business ethics is inexistent and you need to watch your back otherwise you will surely get screwed.
The client doesn’t need to be in direct contact with the supplier. All the deals go through you, and you provide the client address for shipping only at the last time, and you give your own phone number, no email. On the long term, you may want to have a trusful third party to serve as buffer or use your own company to handle everything and make your offer to the client on a DDP basis.
If you need a more professional service or want us to serve as third party you can contact with us it is part of our business ;-) . Just provide more details about your case, your country and the city the supplier is located to see if we can help.
Anyway wish you to have a successful transaction.

Does anyone know any website hosting sites that allow to host adult sex toys internet store?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I am currently building a website, but I found out that not all website hosting companies allow to host adult sex toys sites. Can anyone suggest good website hosting site to use? I really appreciate it.

Dreamhost is one of best the hosting companies that allows hosting of adult sites. It also allows hosting of multiple sites on a single account. The plan includes 500GB of Disk Storage, and 5TB of Monthly Bandwidth, but they are increasing it all the time.

P.S. The price is $119.40/year, but you can use a Promo code at signup page and get a $50.00 discount. The current Promo code is ACTIVE

A hosting company stole my domain name without do process?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I hosted with ait hosting service and when I decided to move my domains to another hosting service they decided to change the registration of the master domain to their company. How can I fight this e legal action? I contacted ICANN but they do not seem to have much advice.

Quite common for hosting companies to offer free domain with hosting, and they retain ownership of the domain. I doubt domain was ever yours to begin with. Too bad, but unethical is not illegal. You will probably find notice of this in all the fine print you agreed to when opening your hosting account.

Your only hope is if your name was listed as owner at the time of registration and they did an illegal transfer, but I doubt it.

What is the best way to build an online store?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I am selling plus size clothing on ebay and would like to just have a store of my own. The fees are ridiculous. What would be the best way to go about doing this and aside from having a few customers from ebay, how do a build up my customers and promote my store? I saw Amazon has a store you can build. Is that a good option?

Start with an E-foundation, and some e-2×4′s, start throwing stuff together, and eventually….you’ll have an e-building suitable for e-commerce.

It’s easy as E-pie!

Seriously though….I believe Yahoo actually has a way to set up stores as well as the ones you mentioned. I know I ordered T-shirts off one, and ethernet cables off another.

Wholesale products for baking and cooking?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

anyone know where resturants buy their bulk products such as flour and sugar and eggs? Also, where do i go to get boxes and containers wholesale/ and i REALLY mean wholesale cheap prices? Thanks for all your help!

I just started ordering some items in bulk and found that bulkfoods.com has great prices. I just put in a price list request from an organic meat/egg place…not sure how "cheap" it will be but if it’s worth it I will let you know. As stated, I only just started doing this and I am also on the search for other sites…looking forward to see the answers you receive.

What is the easiest way to build our own website?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I would like to build a website on my own or say would like to design the site, can I do it with ms front page. What is the best and easiest or user friendly software do it.

When you attempt to built a website, there are two main options you can choose before anything else:

1. Do I want my own domain (e.g. www.MyWebsite.com)
2. Do I just want a place on the internet that is mine (like a MySpace except there are no restrictions, e.g. Freewebs, Geocities)

If you’re looking to just have some fun or learning in doing so, I’d recommend the second option, which opens up many more options to make the website more user friendly. Most big hosts of #2 kinds offer detailed templates and infinite help pages to personalise, without ever needing to even learn HTML/CSS/JavaScript code. This option is also (generally) free.

If you’re a bit more serious or picky with how you are hosted (found with an address and the quality of your servers) – then you’ll be looking to spend somewhere between $50 and $200 per year – Geocities has a paying option and I personally use GoDaddy.com. With these however, you will generally not get as much help, though I think if you try and use freewebs to make a paid account, they may help you with templates still.

I think the easiest way to build, regardless of which method, would be to use a WYSIWYG (What is you see is what you get) program – like DreamWeaver. Dreamweaver will allow you to draw your page with textboxes, pictures, position etc. (similar to MS Front Page or Publisher) and has many user-friendly tools that help you publish and edit every minor detail.

If you’re in it for the long haul though, I’d suggest that the time spent learning HTML and CSS code will be invaluable. The personal satisfaction gained from looking at a webpage built in notepad is phenominal – though I wouldn’t recommend it at first.

As for Microsoft Office software solutions – I wouldn’t recommend them at all. They seem to be good at first, but when you begin to use them you’ll probably find like myself and countless friends that they’re very non-user-friendly for anything beyond the most simple of webpages.

Please ignore a few bugs at the moment I’m sorting through.

Whats the best dropshippers for selling on ebay?

What is the typical markup for wholesalers?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I am looking into starting a wholesaler/distribution company for a Home accesories line of products (placemats, trivets, coasters).
The products are made in China, they will be imported to the USA, I will stock them and distribute them threw independant sales reps to retailers.
What are the typical markups for wholesalers (between the price they bought the product from the manufacturer and the price they sold it to the retailers) so they can make a profit.

Each industry has different "standard" markups. However, you should calculate your costs and then add what you want to make for each item, and come up with what YOU NEED TO CHARGE.

Just because one company has a certain markup does not mean you can make it on that same markup. Lots depends on their distribution channels and how and where they get their goods.

There is a typical markup, your are correct, but there is no guarantee that you can survive using that rate, especially just starting out.

Anyone Using a Build a Niche Store Software?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I am into affiliate marketing and I used to sell on eBay (so I know how to find hot niche products) so I am wondering if the build a niche store software is any good? Sounds good and I just came across an article that can show me how to use it. So if anyone is using it, please let me know.

http://ezinearticles.com/?Build-a-Niche-Store-Review—Training-for-Newbies!&id=1038475

Thanks…

With your experience you should be o.k… I know the person who designed the training, (and I went through it personally) so you are in good hands. Build a niche store has over 1000 members some are successful and some are not. The main reason not being successful is not knowing how to research that market, which you already know how to do, and the second is you need to know how to promote that site.
