I want to start a "Build a Niche Store" as I just signed up to be an eBay affiliate.?
However, I am NOT good at promoting sites. I get overwhelmed. I feel this might be a real stumbling block for me and I won’t earn any money. Can someone like me be successful with this? I am willing to work hard at it but have never had luck generating traffic to any sites I have made. =(
How long have you been promoting each individual site? It really takes 3-6 months to get a site going — unless you’re willing to pay for traffic through sponsored ads on the search engines.
It’s tough to give you specific advice without knowing more about your website. Build good quality content to attract readers through natural search, submit some of those articles to article directories, become active in forums related to your website’s niche (make sure to include links back to your site in your signature lines).
It really isn’t that difficult to make money as an affiliate marketer, it just takes patience and follow-through.
