the best and cheapest website to register a domain name and web hosting?

i need to set up a website but before that i need to find a website to get a domain name and also web hosting with cool facilities. Do you know the one?

For .COM / .NET / .ORG domains, stick to GoDaddy.com
They are the world’s largest domain registrars and provide 5GB hosting (banner supported) and 25 MB email account for free with every domain. Domains typically range from 6.59 to 9.95

If you look around the net, you will also be able to easily get GoDaddy coupon codes that further reduce your billing. one coupon is ‘saveten’ that applies a straight 10% off on your bill.

If you purchase hosting at GoDaddy, the domain is only 1.99 for the first year.

You can also buy hosting for $1/month at 3ivx.
Avoid 1&1 like plague. I had a terrible experience with their billing.

For .IN domains, go for MITSU.IN. They are the cheapest.

I can vouch for GoDaddy and Mitsu since I have loads of domains registered with them and websites hosted with GoDaddy since 2000.

WebHostingBuzz is the way to go. http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/idev/idevaffiliate.php?id=325

$3.99 a month for 300 GB of Space, with a free domain. Some may be cheaper, like hostned, but WHB gives you 1000X the space with a free domain. I encourage you to find a place that packages a domain free with hosting, that will save you time with working with nameservers. As a sidenote, Godaddy is now $9.99/domain, and their interface is an absolute nightmare. If you’ve ever worked with CPanel, you will pull your hair out when working with Godaddy’s control panel.

Use 1&1. $4/month gives you everything you need – including
    the domain name!

They also give a lot more space and bandwidth than others.
If you don’t need MS hosting, take Linux – easy to use plug-ins.
