Where can I get a free domain name for a new website I’m planning?

I looked across the internet I couldn’t find any free domain names. Someone please help me onto where I can get free domains? : )

www.freedomain.com for www.yourname.co.nr or use microsoft live it says free but its not it costs 2 pound .

    alright well there is really no way to get a domain name like .com or .co.uk or .org or anything else"official" for free, but, you can get domain names like .us.tt or .ca.tt or .uk.tt and loads more and http://www.joynic.com/
    or you can use .tk at http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html?lang=en

    This is the best place. It’s COMPLETELY FREE, but instead of .com it gives you .co.nr

    You just have to create a website using something like googlepage creator and then go to this website and follow all of the instructions. It’s really easy and they switch the name for you. It takes only about 2 minutes to complete the whole thing.
