Does anyone know of alcohol wholesalers providing the supply for bars and restaurants?

I am looking into opening a bar in Chicago, and I was hoping someone could shed some light on where the actual alcohol is purchased by bars? I assume there are large wholesalers rather than individually ordering from every company. Does anyone know of a reliable, trustworthy, and economical company to help me with this?

While Yahoo answers is good for many things, I suspect this is not it. If I were you, I would visit another bar and ask what they do. My opinion.
